We are seeking an ambitious, driven intern to join the team at Badminton England where you will work directly with our CEO office to help plan and deliver the hospitality experience at the Yonex All England event for Badminton England. This internship offers a unique opportunity to support projects, problem solve, and gain insight all while developing your own skills.

About the Role
The Hospitality team are responsible for the warm welcome of our distinguished guests at the VIP entrance at the Yonex All England event in 2025. Serving as the primary point of contact and information, you will assist guests by resolving issues and ensuring an enjoyable experience. As the central liaison between Hospitality areas, you will deal with communication, arrivals and numbers on-site, along with guest needs, to make sure they are seamlessly delivered across all touch points.
Badminton England is seeking a intern with experience in all of the following areas:
- Confidence speaking to large groups of people.
- Excellent customer service skills and be a confident communicator.
- Calm and professional manner greeting our VIP’s.
- The ability to adapt to change and us initiative to solve problems.
Hours:
Part time 15/20 hours a week, between Monday-Thursday based at the NBC Milton Keynes. We are flexible for this to take place alongside study for a university degree.
Key Information:
- Lunch will be provided when working at the NBC.
- During the Yonex All England event you will receive:
- Meals and refreshments whilst on shift

- Reimbursement of venue car parking and/or train ticket to venue.
Salary: Minimum wage
